Special Issue:“Special Issue on Growth of Ecomaterials as a Key to Eco-Society VII”

The editorial committee of Materials Transactions is planning to publish a special issue on “Special Issue on Growth of Ecomaterials as a Key to Eco-Society VII” as September 2026.
The committee would like to invite many contributions of original articles from around the globe for this special issue.

Objective and topics of coverage are as follows:
Ecomaterials are now defined by an emphasis on interdisciplinary approaches that integrate advanced materials science and engineering methods with environmental awareness. These approaches yield energy- and material-efficient technologies. Specifically, we are addressing changes to the social system to ensure the availability of energy and resources in the industrial world and to address climate change.
A series of special issues titled “Growth of Ecomaterials as a Key to Eco-Society” shares the latest research findings on Ecomaterials. The seventh issue is scheduled to coincide with the 16th International Conference on Ecomaterials (ICEM 2025), taking place from November 24 to 26, 2025, in Bangkok. Contributed papers and overviews will be compiled to describe the current and future trends in the field of Ecomaterials for a sustainable global society.

Topics:
Green materials, Green science, engineering, technology and industrial processes, Green energy, BCG (Bio-Circular-Green) economy, policy and safety, Resources, Recycle, Eco-design, Life-cycle engineering, Socio-eco-system, Waste management, Hazardous substances, Risk assessment
